Felix Faber has received the Förderpreis 2025 from the VDI Bezirksverband Magdeburg for his Master thesis on "Development of a non-isothermal pore network model for primary freeze-drying of pore structures reconstructed from X-ray tomography image data". Congratulations to our employee Johannes Bürger for receiving a presentation award at the annual meeting of the VDI/DECHEMA Working Party on Drying! The award, granted by the advisory board, recognized his excellent presentation on recent results from a joint project with Prof. Kharaghani and Prof. Jaskulski, focused on CFD simulations of agglomeration in spray drying with fines return.
