High visit from China

VDI Magdeburger Bezirksverein Förderpreis 2025 for M.Sc. Felix Faber
Felix Faber has received the Förderpreis 2025 from the VDI Bezirksverband Magdeburg for his Master thesis on "Development of a non-isothermal pore network model for primary freeze-drying of pore structures reconstructed from X-ray tomography image data". Presentation award for M.Sc. Johannes Bürger
Congratulations to our employee Johannes Bürger for receiving a presentation award at the annual meeting of the VDI/DECHEMA Working Party on Drying! The award, granted by the advisory board, recognized his excellent presentation on recent results from a joint project with Prof. Kharaghani and Prof. Jaskulski, focused on CFD simulations of agglomeration in spray drying with fines return.
New PhD school starting in January 2025
A new International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) titled Systems and Process Engineering for a Sustainable Chemical Production (SysProSus) has been approved by the Max Planck Society and our University.
