On 12th of November 2024, the people from our team who are working on microwave-based processes was visiting the technical center of Püschner GmbH & Co. KG in Schwanewede near Bremen.

After some 3-hour drive, we inspected the latest modifications on our microwave dryer, which got extended heating and ventilation capacities. We conducted successfully some tests with wet clay roof tiles to assess the constructive improvements.

Group meeting in September 2024, after our regular group meeting, we enjoyed a BBQ and played volleyball as a fun team-building exercise.

During a research stay at the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL) in Grenoble, the primary focus was on utilizing neutron tomography to image porous transport layers (PTLs) employed in hydrogen fuel cells. This endeavor aimed to gain valuable insights into the intricate structure and functionality of PTLs which are a crucial components in hydrogen fuel cell technology. The research stay provided a unique opportunity to collaborate with experts in the field and harness cutting-edge neutron imaging techniques for a deeper understanding of these critical materials, contributing to advancements in sustainable energy solutions.
