Large-scale pore network and continuum simulations of drying in porous media using machine learning.
A key pillar of the project is to work out an overarching methodology that jointly leverages pore network models and supervised machine learning techniques. A methodology as such will aid simulations of drying in thick porous media, but also thermo-chemical processes (such as pyrolysis) in thermally-thick particles.
