Vice-presidency for Prof. Tsotsas
On 22 November 2024, Prof. Evangelos Tsotsas was appointed to a vice-president of the newly-founded International Association for Drying Science and Technology, Makao (IRADSTM). The appointment certificate for a term of three years was handed over to Prof. Tsotsas at the 23rd International Drying Symposium (IDS 2024) in Wuxi, China.
Fellowship for Prof. Kharaghani
On 23 November 2024, Prof. Abdolreza Kharaghani was appointed to a fellow of the newly-founded International Association for Drying Science and Technology, Makao (IRADSTM). Award for Dr. Vorhauer-Huget
At the 23rd International Drying Symposium (IDS 2024), which took place from 22 to 25 November 2024 in Wuxi, China, Dr. Nicole Vorhauer-Huget has obtained the Young Drying Scientist Award, in recognition of her excellent contribution to the advancement of drying science and technology. Agreement with Jiliang University
An agreement of cooperation, including the exchange of students, has been signed between the Faculty of Process and Systems Engineering and the College of Energy Environment and Safety Engineering of the China Jiliang University. Prof. Peng Xu from the Jiliang College and Prof. Evangelos Tsotsas from the FVST have signed during a small ceremony carried out in Wuxi on 22 November 2024, during the 23rd International Drying Symposium.
